Day Shift 9A-9P (HHA/CNA/Caregivers Needed for Non-Skilled Services

Responsibilities

• Assist with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home
• Perform housekeeping activities such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning the bathroom
• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany client on errands or medical appointments
• Provide bathing, showering, dressing, and shaving assistance
• Give medication reminders
• Assist with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Provide dementia care
• Engage in companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
• Ability to pass a background check
• CNA license, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification preferred

Skills

• Ability to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
