Sea Grove Recovery in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina provides substance use treatment for adults, including dual diagnosis treatment for co‑occurring mental health disorders. The 41‑bed facility is set in a serene, wooded environment and offers detox, residential care, and a partial hospitalization program (PHP) with lodging available. The Registered Nurse (RN) reports to the Director of Nursing and works in both detox and residential treatment programs, participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, patient rounding, withdrawal assessments, patient education, admissions, medication administration, vital sign monitoring, and fostering a supportive recovery environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patient rounding to ensure safety
• Apply strong clinical knowledge of detox protocols
• Complete standardized withdrawal assessments (COWS and CIWA)
• Provide essential patient education on the withdrawal and recovery process
• Participate in the admission process for new patients
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs
• Ensure patient safety during the detox process
• Help create a supportive environment that promotes recovery and healing through teamwork and effective communication
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and collaborate on comprehensive care strategies

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required
• Minimum of 3‑5 years of substance use treatment experience preferred
• Active RN license in the state of South Carolina
