Job Skills / Requirements

• Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
• Good time management skills to prioritize work effectively
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

$17.00 per hour with weekly pay

Hours: 5 days / 2 hours 2PM to 4PM

Position Details

The part-time custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the building. Must possess strong attention to detail. Duties include:
- Performing custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and replenishing supplies
- Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste properly
- Dusting and wiping down surfaces, including desks, tables, and windowsills
- Performing floor care tasks such as buffing, waxing, and polishing floors
- Maintaining cleanliness of common areas, including lobbies, hallways, and break rooms
- Following established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Reporting any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
