Responsibilities

• Performs all assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highest integrity of the Company.
• Performs routine cleaning of office areas, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, stairways, and all other areas in a clean, neat and sanitary manner.
• Mops and sweeps as needed.
• Cleans and dusts furniture, exhibit cases, fixtures, windows, doors, trim, and related furnishings as requested by the supervisor.
• Uses safety pole for high dusting.
• Checks and changes vacuum cleaner bags daily/weekly.
• Empties waste paper baskets; collects, bags, and disposes of paper and debris as directed; collects and places in containers garbage, broken glass, and litter.
• Removes trash to appropriate refuse container.
• Ensures that custodial carts are neat and tidy and uniform daily.
• Replenishes rest room supplies.
• Cleans, disinfects, and services lavatories, locker rooms, and rest rooms. Cleans all fixtures daily.
• Maintains high quality service standards when performing job duties.
• Completes own work with normal supervision.
• Performs related work as directed.
• Ensures cleaning carts are not left unattended and custodial closet remains locked at all times.
• Keeps hallways and pathways clear of debris, cleaning equipment and tools.
• Reports to work on time and dressed in company uniform to also include employee badge and black safety shoes.
• Adheres to attendance policy.
• Identifies and reports safety hazards to supervisor.
• Follows safety procedures which include the correct use of PPE and other Safety requirements based on the job.
• Reports structural concerns to Manager immediately.
• Completes work orders, corrective inspection forms, and additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One to three months related experience and training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
• Apply common sense understanding to follow instructions that were provided.
• Must be able to communicate and understand English.

Physical Qualifications

• Bend 15 to 30 times during 6.5 hours shift.
• Carry 5 to 10 times while carrying 5-10 pounds.
• Kneel 15 to 30 times.
• Lift floor to waist 3 to 4 times.
• Pull and Push 3 to 5 times while carrying 15 to 20 pounds.
• Reach overhead 3 to 5 times while carrying 0-1 pounds.
• Sit 2-3 times during the 6.5 hour shift.
• Stand 80% of the time while carrying 1-5 pounds.
• Walk approximately 50% of the time while carrying 15-10 pounds.
• Twist 10% of times while carrying 1-5 pounds.
• Grasp 75% of the time.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One to three months related experience and training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay

$14.27/hr.

Full Time, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4 PM
