Day Porter

About the role

Fortis Native Group is interviewing for a Day Porter for their contract located in Sacramento, California, 95652. This position reports to the Project Manager and is fully onsite.

Job Duties

• Daily reporting to Site Leadership and willingness to perform specific assigned duties.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain bathrooms using approved procedures and products.
• Dust, polish, and wipe furniture, shelves, desk, etc. as applicable.
• Empty and wipe clean garbage bins, follow recycling procedures when necessary.
• Assist with facility set-up for meetings, events, or classrooms when requested.
• Periodic services such as stripping/waxing, floor burnishing, and carpet cleaning.
• Maintain building security when entering or exiting facility.
• Disinfect and sanitize work areas for customer use by utilizing approved chemicals and cleaning methods in accordance with Statement of Work.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of applicable experience.
• Must have and maintain an active Top Secret clearance.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including part-time hours.
• Must pass a stringent Federal Background Check.
• Must be able to perform tasks such as moving, carrying, and storing items.
• Must be able to walk, stand, kneel, reach, etc. as required for cleaning.
• Must be able to comprehend and follow instructions.
• Must be able to work with a team.
• Must be able to follow instructions.
• Must be reliable and willing to perform assigned daily tasks.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $18 - $23 per hour.

Schedule

The hours for this position are: Monday: 5 p.m.- 1:30 a.m. Tuesday: 5 p.m.- 1:30 a.m. Wednesday: 3 p.m.- 11:30 p.m. Thursday: 5 p.m. - 1:30 a.m. Friday: 5 p.m. - 1:30 a.m.
