Day Porter

About the Role

Perform cleaning and maintenance duties in all assigned areas including lobbies, hallways, offices, restrooms, and outdoor spaces.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors
• Dust surfaces and clean windows
• Transport trash and recyclables to designated disposal areas
• Set up and break down rooms or spaces for meetings, events, or special functions as needed
• Assist with moving furniture, equipment, and deliveries throughout the facility
• Perform light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, reporting leaks, or other facility issues to management
• Replenish cleaning and restroom supplies as necessary
• Support team members and other departments with facility-related needs
• Follow safety guidelines and company policies at all times

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Experience: Previous experience in custodial, housekeeping, or porter roles is an asset

Skills

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move objects for extended periods
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable and punctual

Pay

Hourly Rate: $15.00 per hour (Paid Weekly)

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 11:00am to 3:00pm
