Day Crew Selector

About the Role

Mr. Greens is looking for highly motivated and dedicated Selectors that can work individually selecting full-case grocery, frozen, and/or perishable products from warehouse pick slots using a pallet jack or other equipment. You will then fit the items on a pallet, plastic wrap the bundles, transport pallets to a shipping dock, and in some cases, load them onto a truck for delivery to customers. All employees are expected to make safety their top priority.

Accountabilities

• Perform general physical activities: load, unload, sort, and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment
• Perform tasks in multi-temperature environments
• Select merchandise for shipment and stack on pallet neatly by using a pallet jack or forklift
• Use a pick sheet to find out individual items inside the warehouse
• Breakdown and restack merchandise from pallets
• Verify the quantity of the products
• Ensure items are picked accurately and safely to prevent damage
• Keep warehouse tidy by picking up scrap wood, paper, plastic wrappers, and broken pallets
• Maintaining a food-safe environment
• Report any damaged equipment to shift supervisor or maintenance staff
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Required to be punctual
• Forklift/pallet jack: 1 year
• Must pass a drug test
• Available to work on weekends

Physical Demands & Work Environment
