About the role

Immanuel Pathways PACE® is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to work at Pathways Central Iowa located at 7700 Hickman Road, Windsor Heights, IA 50324. The position involves providing personal care, activities of daily living, restorative, recreational programming, and supportive care to participants in their homes. The schedule is 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday, with rotating holidays and no weekends.

Job Duties

• Provide and assist participants with personal cares, activities of daily living, restorative, recreational programming, and supportive care in the center and/or participant’s homes.
• Maintain a safe environment for participants of Immanuel Pathways.
• Monitor and report participant’s health status.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate required in the respective state.
• At least 18 years of age.
• One (1) year of experience working with the frail or elderly population required, or completion of job-specific training related to working with the elderly population within the first six months of hire.
• Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and means of transportation.

Skills

• Ability to provide compassionate and professional care to participants.
• Knowledge of health and safety protocols.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The pay rate is commensurate with experience.
