About the role

The Chestnut Ridge School District seeks an Assistant Principal for the Chestnut Ridge Elementary School, which serves approximately 300 students in PreK through 2nd grade. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, a commitment to student achievement, and hold a PA Principal Certification (or eligibility).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with school policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement educational programs that meet the needs of students.
• Assist in the development and implementation of the school’s strategic plan.
• Maintain open communication with parents and community members.

Requirements

• PA Principal Certification (or eligibility)
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Experience in education management
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field
• Master's degree preferred
• At least 3 years of experience in education administration
