About the role

The Day Bin Loader is responsible for transferring feed materials from supersacks and drums into the day bins through a pneumatic system.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and follow established procedures to conduct work safely, effectively, and in an environmentally friendly manner.
• Identify and prepare appropriate equipment.
• Prepare the materials to be loaded into the smelter.
• Operate forklifts.
• Assist the Smelter Team with various tasks as required.
• Transfer feed materials from supersacks and drums into the day bins through a pneumatic conveying system.
• Transfer materials from the smelter utilizing proper tools and equipment.
• Participate in oxidation of alloy and related refining techniques under elevated temperatures.

Flex Shift: 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM
