Day and Evening Utility Worker

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial lift and/or tugger to assist in loading or moving materials for yardage
• Bale cardboard
• Run a trash compactor
• Operate a tow tractor
• Keep production running smoothly
• Use computer, read work order, or follow oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved
• Load materials and/or buggies into trailers and/or trucks
• Install strapping or chains to prevent shifting or damage while in transit
• Print necessary labels and manifests
• Transport buggies from work sites to designated area
• Load and unload full or empty buggies
• Perform janitorial duties such as emptying trash cans, cleaning restrooms, and scrubbing floors

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No experience required and on the job training provided
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Utility Worker in charge of towing and emptying trash and cardboard carts as they fill through the shift.

Pay

Pay rate starting from $15.00/hr. with a pay differential on second shift

Schedule

Shifts are as follows: 6:30am-3pm 3pm-11:30pm
