Datacenter Cx Specialist
About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Datacenter Cx Specialist to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. This remote role is focused on leading commissioning and startup efforts across client sites, with a strong emphasis on safety, execution planning, and operational readiness. The right candidate will help translate project objectives into practical field strategies, supporting both pre-commissioning and startup activities. This position works closely with client teams, field personnel, and stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient, and well-documented project delivery. International travel is a significant part of the role. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.
Responsibilities
- Lead safety initiatives and promote a safety-first culture at client sites
- Create detailed Project Execution Plans (PEPs)
- Draft pre-commissioning and commissioning strategies
- Develop startup procedures and training manuals
- Contribute to PHA and HAZOP meetings to enhance safety protocols
- Participate in FAT and SAT with actionable feedback
- Assist clients during plant startups and troubleshooting activities
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in startup and commissioning roles required
- Field experience in plant operations necessary
- Willingness to travel 60% of the time, including international trips
- Valid TWIC card or the ability to obtain one is mandatory
- Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills in team environments

Pay
Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually
