Databricks Solution Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of Databricks architectures for various data solutions
• Administer Databricks workspaces and manage account-level settings
• Design and manage Unity Catalog structures and metadata standards
• Establish compute and workload management patterns for performance and security
• Translate requirements into Databricks-native architecture and documentation
• Collaborate with security and DevOps teams for platform integration
• Develop reusable architecture guidelines and operational playbooks
• Troubleshoot platform issues across various operational aspects
• Advise clients on governance and cost management for Databricks adoption

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a relevant field
• 5-10 years of experience in data architecture or related fields
• Hands-on experience with Databricks environments and configurations
• Strong skills in SQL, Python, and Spark-based development
• Deep knowledge of Unity Catalog and its management
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Ability to develop technical documentation and architecture artifacts
