About the role
This role involves designing, building, and operating scalable data and analytics solutions. It also includes applying AI-enabled analytics and machine learning techniques to solve operational and decision-support problems.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data and analytics solutions using Databricks platform
- Develop and maintain PySpark and Spark SQL applications
- Manage Databricks clusters, jobs, and workflows in production environments
- Integrate Databricks with CI/CD pipelines and enterprise SDLC tooling
- Implement ML or AI solutions in Databricks, including MLflow-based lifecycle management
- Ensure data quality and observability through appropriate tools
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering roles
- 2+ years of experience with the Databricks platform
- Experience with Databricks clusters, jobs or workflows, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog in production environments
- Experience integrating Databricks with CI/CD pipelines and enterprise SDLC tooling
- Knowledge of Python for data engineering and ML workflows
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and their data services
- Ability to operate effectively in structured, compliance-driven government environments

- Bachelor’s degree

- Strong practical experience with core Databricks platform capabilities
- Practical experience with modern data architecture patterns
- Practical experience with disciplined software engineering practices
- Practical experience in regulated SDLC environments

Pay
$62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD)
Schedule
Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
