Azure Databricks Administrator

The Azure Databricks Administrator will provide technical expertise in deploying applications on the Azure Databricks platform. Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the development team
• Creating documentation to describe technical solutions
• Managing scheduling queues and messages
• Ensuring performance management
• Checking cluster health and performing regular backups and recoveries
• Commissioning and decommissioning nodes
• Maintaining Hive connections, Kafka, Spark, Map Reduce, and Tez
• Administering Azure HDInsight, Databricks, storage, accounts, and storage explorer
• Managing user groups and privilege checks
• Deploying code to production
• Analyzing server logs
• Monitoring scheduled reports and backups

Primary Skill

Demonstrated experience in software engineering, architecture, and large-scale delivery in a fast-paced, agile environment.
