As a Database/Web Engineer you will work in a multi‑disciplinary R&D environment alongside electrical engineers, mathematicians, and computer scientists/engineers, creating cutting‑edge signal processing, geolocation, and communication systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data systems with both web and database components.
• Analyze and maintain existing databases and web interfaces.
• Add new features to operational systems, including signal‑processing algorithms.
• Test implementations with real data and provide applications to front‑line customer facilities.
• Create effective user interfaces and data‑visualization tools.
• Stay up‑to‑date with latest technologies, tools, and methodologies; experiment with new technologies for RRC projects.
• Work across systems engineering, development, integration & test, deployment, and O&M.
• Propose improvements to applications and frameworks.
• Work unsupervised with minimal direction and self‑start on tasks.

Required Background

• Degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD) in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• Proficient in modern software engineering practices for testability and readability.
• Proficient in C++ and Python in Linux environments.
• Proficient in SQL and/or NoSQL, JavaScript, CSS, HTML.
• Demonstrated ability to design software systems that meet functionality, performance, scalability, and maintainability requirements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Preferred Background

• At least 3 years of experience in a software‑engineering‑related discipline.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue, React, or Angular.
• Experience with DevOps and cloud computing (GitLab, CI/CD, CVE mitigations, Docker, Kubernetes, PIP).
• Experience with Agile development processes.
• Current TS/SCI clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Location

This position can be located at our Centennial, CO office or our Tucson, AZ headquarters. Remote work/telework is not available.
