Database Programmer

Key Responsibilities

• Program, administer, test, and implement computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems
• Cook changes to computer databases
• Create, modify, and use database procedures, processes, queries, triggers, scripts, and views
• Provide system and database engineering support for development, test, and production activities required for each software release
• Troubleshoot and repair Database communication
• Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 8+ years of experience as a Journeyman level with HS, 4+ years with BS, or 3+ years with MS
• 7+ years of experience as a Senior level with BS, 3+ years with MS
• Working knowledge of coding languages as appropriate for their team role
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Active DoD Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• DoD Data Operations Specialist Certification(s)
