Database Developer

Job Description

This position supports end-to-end formula transformation activities for a large-scale business integration initiative. The role focuses on the migration and conversion of formulation data from acquired company systems into the target environment. The developer will work collaboratively with existing development teams to ensure data integrity and successful migrations.

• Extract, transform, and load formulation data from acquired company systems.
• Perform data mapping, data conversion, and data validation activities.
• Support Oracle database development and integration work.
• Affiliate in troubleshooting data load failures and validating successful data migrations.
• Work alongside the organization's existing development teams.
• Develop and execute data loads using database procedures, services, and APIs.
• Implement and support modern integration patterns, including API-based data exchange.
• Troubleshoot data issues and optimize performance for large-scale data processing.

Experience

• Proven background in ETL and data migration projects.
• Experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Hands-on experience with ETL processes and tools.
• Proficiency in SQL Server and Oracle databases is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is important.
• Experience in a manufacturing, chemical, or formulation-driven environment is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Toad or other Oracle database tools is beneficial.
• Experience with product lifecycle management or industrial systems is considered attractive.
