Database Admin Sr Principal

About the role

We are seeking a Database Administrator (DBA) to join our multi-million dollar, national intelligence program supporting the Cloud Investment Multi-Cloud Management (CIMM) team. As a contributor to the intelligence community’s first multi-cloud initiative, you will be at the epicenter of emergent cloud computing technologies establishing a foundation that will evolve to include all agencies within the IC. As a Database Administrator, you will oversee and influence Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) in infrastructure management and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the intelligence community’s first multi-cloud initiative.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 14+ years of experience; OR Master’s degree and 12+ years of experience; OR PhD/JD and 9+ years of experience.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
• Five (5) or more years of demonstrated experience in one or more of the following:
  • Leveraging cloud‑agnostic database services
  • Leveraging cloud solutions such as Relational, Document, and Key‑Value databases
  • Leveraging attributes of SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Cloud infrastructure data migration
  • Knowledge of database administrative activities associated with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud (GCP), IBM Cloud, and/or Oracle Cloud
  • Knowledge of containers and microservices
  • Knowledge of cloud automation services

Skills

• Experience with three (3) or more of the following tools: AWS RDS, Oracle DB, Google DB, Postgres, Elasticsearch, Azure SQL, IBM DB.

Pay

Target salary range: $200,001 – $240,000.

Schedule

Full‑Time, Day shift, No travel required.
