Data Warehouse Contractor

About the role

We are seeking a hands-on Data Warehouse Contractor to design, develop, and support next-generation analytical data products and data pipelines. This role is focused on building scalable, reliable, and high-quality data solutions in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy analytical data products and data pipelines
• Build and maintain large-scale data pipelines with strong focus on scalability, performance, reliability, and data quality
• Work hands-on with SQL, Spark, and Scala in a production environment
• Support data modeling, analytics, and metric design activities
• Investigate complex data issues and turn findings into actionable insights
• Work with modern data platforms and lakehouse technologies such as Iceberg, Trino, and Superset
• Contribute to AI/ML-adjacent data products when needed, including feature engineering, GenAI, and RAG support

Required Qualifications

• 6–9 years of experience in data engineering or data warehouse development
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Spark, and Scala
• Experience building and maintaining production data pipelines
• Experience with modern data platforms and lakehouse technologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot data issues

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in data modeling, analytics, and metric design
• Exposure to AI/ML, recommendation systems, feature engineering, GenAI, or RAG
• Experience supporting AI-powered data products

Pay

The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $60 - $70 per hour. The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
