Data Visualization Specialist, Senior

The Opportunity: As a data visualization specialist, you love diving into data and turning it into meaningful insights. With the abundance of structured and unstructured data, you understand the importance of transforming complex data sets into useful information to solve challenges. You can use your skills and experience to support a mission and use data for good.

Responsibilities

• Use your technical knowledge and analytical mindset to support client and stakeholder relationships.
• Research, develop, and test data methodologies, and generate cross-functional solutions through collection and synthesis of large data sets.
• Utilize Python, including libraries such as pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, or Seaborn, to develop relevant data queries and data visualization solutions.
• Apply data visualization techniques in dashboard tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
• Work with the team to help drive large-scale business and process decisions through data.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
• Experience utilizing Python, including libraries such as pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, or Seaborn.
• Experience utilizing SQL for reporting and dashboard creation.
• Knowledge of databases, including relational databases and schema design.
• Ability to write complex SQL queries, including joins, CTEs, or window functions.
• Ability to work with a team in a collaborative manner.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Skills

• Experience working with Human Resources data.
• Experience with Jira.
• Knowledge of agile software development practices.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to connect to an API.
• Ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and make progress in areas where high ambiguity and uncertainty exists.
• Ability to think critically, using logic and reasoning to help identify alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay

$77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
