Data Visualization Engineer

The Role

We are looking for a creative data visualization engineer to help Hume develop new interactive visualizations for its powerful AI models of expressive behavior in the voice, face, and language. In this role you will work closely with our leadership team and creative partners to implement new frontend experiences that help customers with varying levels of technical sophistication understand and build upon Hume’s AI solutions. You will lead efforts to integrate new visualizations into our Expressive Communication Platform, improving our core product while working with world-leading AI researchers to showcase our latest scientific breakthroughs.

Qualifications

• Experience working with a modern frontend stack (TypeScript, React, Next, etc)
• Proficiency in one or several web visualization libraries/engines (WebGL, D3, three.js, Babylon, etc)
• Able to integrate data fetched from APIs into performant web applications
• A portfolio demonstrating compelling web visualizations that inform and inspire
• A history of effective collaboration with teams of frontend engineers and UX designers
• A passion for telling vibrant stories with transformative data
