Data Visualization Analyst
Role
The Data Visualization Analyst role is designed to help the commercial teams extract, summarize and visualize relevant past performance metrics to drive future performance. It requires a creative thinker who has the ability to transform ideas into actionable tools that help teams deliver their objectives.
Responsibilities
- Work across multiple business teams learning how they operate, understanding insights they need to make decisions
- Analyze information from multiple data sources, external and internal to identify business drivers that affect growth and efficiency
- Design reports, tools and tracking mechanisms
- Translate ideas into tangible output
- Deliver insights using compelling Power BI or SAC visualization techniques for business teams
- Ability to translate business needs into actionable reporting and visualization thru rapid prototyping and storytelling
- Build models and design experiments that seek to uncover insights that drive performance
- Analyze complex data made of unstructured, semi-structured and structured datasets to drive insights
- Active participant in designing creative new ways to use data to help commercial team drive growth
- Work in an environment with internal IT, business teams and external vendors to design and scale workflows, templates and dashboards
Requirements
- BA/BS in computer science or related field or equivalent relevant experience, preferably with a focus on data visualization
- Minimum 5 years of related experience
- Extensive experience with Data Visualization using tools like PowerBI (preferred) and Tableau
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively with others within a complex, cross-functional and fast-paced organization
- Excellent communication. Ability to present ideas and insights to business stakeholders
- CPG industry knowledge
