About the role

micro1 is engaging US-based Data-Video Generalists for a fully remote data collection project involving first-person video recordings of everyday household activities. Contributors will use compatible smartphones and wearable phone mounts to capture synchronized video while performing specified physical tasks, following project quality and recording guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Capture everyday household tasks using a compatible smartphone while performing specified physical activities.
• Record first-person video footage using a wearable phone mount or head strap according to project requirements.
• Capture synchronized video footage that meets the project's technical and quality guidelines.
• Perform household activities and repetitive movement tasks safely while recording.
• Follow all recording, submission, and data collection protocols provided by the project team.
• Complete a device compatibility check during onboarding.
• Complete an AI-enabled interview as part of the onboarding process.
• Submit recorded video that meets project guidelines for compensation.

Requirements

• Must be based in one of the explicitly eligible U.S. states listed for the project.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must own a compatible smartphone: iPhone 12 or later, Google Pixel 6 through 9, or Samsung Galaxy S21 or later.
• Must be comfortable using wearable phone-mount equipment to capture first-person video.
• Must be physically capable of safely performing repetitive movement and household tasks.
• Ability to follow detailed video recording and project guidelines accurately.
• Strong attention to detail when capturing and submitting video data.
• Must complete a device compatibility check and AI-enabled interview during onboarding.
• Availability to begin work after required recording equipment has been received.
