Position Summary
We are seeking a Data Systems Engineer to join our growing organization. This role will support the Director of Data Systems in designing and delivering scalable data solutions that enable business analytics, reporting, and data integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Aid in the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise data platforms (data lake, warehouse, and lakehouse environments)
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and product owners to develop reporting solutions, data extracts, and data models
- Build and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Azure
- Support data visualization and reporting initiatives, including Power BI dashboards and semantic models
- Deliver project objectives on time, within scope, and with a high level of quality
- Contribute to data governance, standards, and best practices
Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- 5+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries and working with data models
- 2+ years of experience developing and maintaining ETL/ELT processes

- Power BI and Power Platform
- Python
- DAX
- Azure Dynamics D365 (preferred)
- Azure DevOps (or similar CI/CD tools)
- Git version control
- Advanced SQL (T-SQL)
- Excel (advanced data manipulation)
- Development tools such as VS Code and SQL Server Management Studio

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders

Additional Requirements
- Ability to travel as needed
- Valid driver’s license with a clear driving record
