Focus and Responsibilities
- Manage and support users in the configuration of Blackbaud Student Information (SIS) and Financial products including integration with other systems such as Ravenna Admit, Toddle, and Pick-A-Time
- Manage the school’s SIS & Library databases along with our Toddle LMS architecture and academic data workflows
- Maintain professional documentation of procedures and practices for the Blackbaud SIS and other core tools
- Maintain integrations between admissions, finance, and instructional systems
- Design and maintain institutional reporting structures and datasets
- Conduct data integrity and access audits to ensure system reliability
- Improve operational workflows across departments through automation and integration
- Support responsible data governance and security practices across school systems
- Support users with networked copier/printer connectivity setups and issues
- Provide support for MacOS, Windows, and ChromeOS client software and related programs and install, configure, and maintain software, hardware, and related peripherals
- Troubleshoot Google Workspace settings, accounts, and devices
- Support and configure Apple devices with the JAMF Mobile Device Management System
- Respond to help desk requests in a timely and professional manner
- Troubleshoot and document IT issues
- Provide backup AV support in conjunction with other department staff (Projectors, Apple TV, DVD players, Zoom TV Neat Bar and peripherals). Provide backup AV support at school functions as needed
- Stay current on developments in software tools for schools and workplaces and suggest innovative, cost-effective solutions to user needs
Education/Qualifications
- Blackbaud SIS configuration and management experience - including, but not limited to: Advanced Lists and Reporting, Insight Designer and Dashboards, Roles and Permissions best practices and auditing
- Working knowledge with system integrations, APIs, or data imports/exports
- Working knowledge and experience with device management, hardware, and software setup, repair, and troubleshooting in an Apple (MacOS & iOS) environment
- Basic understanding of Mac OS, Windows OS, Chrome OS, and familiarity with Google Drive/Docs
- Basic understanding of AI tools and an interest in exploring potential use cases
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, customer service, time management, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Self-motivated
- Comfort with multi-tasking; able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills; keen attention to detail
- Ability to interact with individuals with a range of technological expertise in a calm, courteous, and professional manner
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a diverse, fast-paced, multilingual educational environment
- Growth-oriented, curious, innovative, and practical
- Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and crawling under desks.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
