Data Solutions Developer

About the role

We are seeking a talented Data Solutions Developer to join a growing team focused on delivering data-driven business solutions. This role combines application development, data integration, reporting, and analytics to help transform complex business needs into scalable technology solutions. The ideal candidate will partner closely with business stakeholders, developers, and data engineering teams to design, build, and support enterprise reporting platforms, web applications, APIs, and analytics solutions that improve operational visibility, decision-making, and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and support modern web applications, APIs, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
• Integrate and consolidate data from multiple enterprise systems to provide accurate and actionable business insights.
• Build scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions using modern software development practices.
• Develop and maintain data-driven applications that improve user access to information and streamline business processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and ensure successful delivery.
• Troubleshoot application, integration, and data quality issues while implementing long-term improvements.
• Support solution enhancements, performance optimization, and ongoing maintenance activities.

Reporting & Analytics

• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytical tools that support business operations and strategic decision-making.
• Perform data validation, analysis, and troubleshooting to ensure reporting accuracy and reliability.
• Develop data models and support integration efforts across enterprise platforms and databases.
• Work closely with data engineering teams to improve data availability, quality, and usability.

Experience Required

• 3+ years of experience in software development, application development, business intelligence, reporting, analytics, or a related technical field.
• Experience developing web applications, APIs, dashboards, and business solutions in an enterprise environment.
• Experience integrating, validating, and troubleshooting data across multiple systems and platforms.

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET, Blazor, and RESTful API development.
• Proficiency in modern web application development methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with source control platforms such as GitHub and development tools including Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with cloud-hosted solutions, microservices, distributed architectures, and Azure-based deployments.
• Strong SQL development, data analysis, data modeling, and data integration skills.
• Experience working with Power BI, Databricks, enterprise data warehouses, lakehouse/cloud data platforms, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Knowledge of Azure services, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment processes.
• Experience building enterprise reporting and analytics solutions.
• Familiarity with semantic models, modern data architecture principles, and Agile development methodologies.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications and data platforms.
