Data Solutions Architect

For a leader in the Food & Beverages space, this role leads technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action, strengthening data-driven execution and helping teams focus on the metrics that matter most.

Location: Remote – US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data solutions using Databricks and modern cloud technologies
• Lead data engineering solution design with Delta Lake and Medallion Architecture
• Mentor teams in data modeling and ETL/ELT development
• Define scalable data integration patterns and strategies
• Establish architecture standards and engineering best practices
• Implement data security frameworks including role-based access controls
• Ensure data quality and governance are maintained across solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Architecture
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake
• Proficiency with Azure Data Lake and Azure Data Factory
• Deep knowledge of Medallion Architecture and data warehousing concepts
• Experience in designing secure, governed data platforms
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Pay

$127,900 – $175,900 annually
