As a Data Security Specialist, you will join Turnberry's Digital Modernization practice, where technology and strategy combine to deliver exceptional digital experiences, empowering organizations to thrive in today's digital market.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, enforce, and audit security policies and procedures which safeguard the integrity of and access to enterprise systems, files, and data elements
- Act on security violations
- Maintain knowledge of changing technologies and provide recommendations for adaptation of new technologies or policies
- Recognize and identify potential areas where existing data security policies and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed, especially regarding future business expansion
- Provide management with risk assessments and security briefings to advise them of critical issues that may affect customer or corporate security objectives
- Evaluate and recommend security products, services, and/or procedures to enhance productivity and effectiveness
- Oversee security awareness programs and provide education on security policies and practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, other related field, or equivalent work experience
- Typically has 3 - 5 years of IT work experience with a broad range of exposure to systems analysis, application development, database design and administration
- 3 - 4 years of experience with information security
- Requires knowledge of security issues, techniques, and implications across all existing computer platforms
- Experience with PCI Compliance and all querying data from different sources of technology to validate security configurations
Pay
The salary range for this role is $70,000 to $105,000 or the hourly equivalent. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
