About the Role

The team works on search and recommendation system tasks, creating models based on internal business requirements, defining success metrics and criteria, and ensuring the lifecycle of these models. The global goal is to improve the quality of recommendation systems across all X5 businesses.

Responsibilities

• Develop models for production environments
• Build and improve machine learning models
• Write code and conduct code reviews
• Propose optimizations and enhancements for existing tools

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python and PyTorch
• Experience with recommendation systems or search
• At least 3 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or Data Scientist
• Knowledge of advanced theoretical and practical machine learning methods
• Experience with Docker, PySpark, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and Airflow
• Experience deploying developed solutions to production
