Data Scientist Mid
Job Duties (include But Are Not Limited To)
- Contribute to completion of specific programs and projects.
- Develop data-driven solutions to complex business challenges.
- Utilizes advanced tools and computational skills to interpret, connect, predict, and make discoveries in data.
- Evaluate the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and gathering techniques.
- Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experience, efficiencies, process improvements, and other business outcomes.
- Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
- Develop processes and machine learning based tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Coach and review the work of less experienced professionals.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Python and Bash, including API development and data manipulation.
- Familiarity with SQL and large-scale systems such as PostgreSQL, Hive, or Trino.
- Basic understanding of ML concepts and familiarity with Flask or FastAPI.
Job Qualifications
Experience: 5-8 years of related experience, including academic or internship-based data science work.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.

- Clearance: Current DoW TS/SCI Clearance required.

The likely salary range for this position is $109,403 - $148,017. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
