Job Summary
Data Scientist Manager sought by Valley National Bank d/b/a Valley Bank in Morristown, NJ.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain new and existing models utilized by the Financial Crimes Compliance.
- Cook and conduct the tuning of the financial crime models.
- Make recommendations to improve model thresholds by conducting statistical analysis including sensitivity and productivity.
- Construct and refine machine learning models.
- Oversee model performance using MLOps practices.
- Lead ongoing risk assessments and monthly metrics by constructing and deploying Power BI Dashboards.
- Capture metrics for stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Data Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field, plus 3 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or similar role.
- Experience must include 3 years working with: Machine learning platforms (DataRobot); SQL Server; and Programming Languages R and Python.

$164,050 to $171,900/year.
Schedule
Job may be performed remotely up to two days per week. Requires 10% domestic travel.
