Data Scientist Level 3 with Security Clearance

About the role

Weeghman & Briggs is seeking a Data Scientist Level 3 to support critical government initiatives in Wahiawa, HI. The ideal candidate should have experience supporting government or DoD programs, with a focus on machine learning, data science, advanced analytical algorithms, programming, statistical analysis, data management, data mining, data modeling and assessment, artificial intelligence, and software engineering.

Responsibilities

• Support mission-critical programs in secure government environments
• Analyze requirements and translate them into actionable solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results
• Ensure compliance with contract and security standards
• Contribute ideas to improve processes, efficiency, and performance

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Master's Degree with 8 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of relevant experience
• Associates degree with 12 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications (Security+, CISSP, PMP, AWS, etc.)
• Foundations: (Mathematical, Computational, Statistical)
• Data Processing: (Data management and curation, data description and visualization, workflow and reproducibility)
• Modeling, Inference, and Prediction: (Data modeling and assessment, domain-specific considerations)
• Experience supporting the Federal Government
• Agile, cloud, or modernization experience
• Background in process improvement or analytical services

Benefits

The projected salary range for this position is $162,800-$180,900, dependent upon experience, qualifications, and contract requirements. We offer a competitive benefits package designed to support you both professionally and personally.
