Data Scientist, Intermediate (Info. Systems & Cyber Security, Analyst)

Responsibilities

• Apply professional knowledge of computer science and mathematical/statistical theories, techniques, and methods to model, interpret, and report quantitative information, trends, relationships, and correlations among or within data sets.
• Participate in Mission Thread Analysis to trace system functionality to operational mission objectives, supporting vulnerability identification and resilience strategy validation.
• Identify methods, processes, algorithms, tools, and systems to extract and interpret findings from varied structured and unstructured data sets related to the data science lifecycle.
• Develop algorithms and/or tools to support data manipulation and processing, and use data visualization techniques to articulate findings.
• Execute comprehensive data management to drive actionable mission intelligence.
• Build and maintain automated intelligence dashboards, develop predictive data models, and translate highly technical findings into plain-language summaries for senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience performing similar responsibilities.
• Two years of experience supporting NAVAIR, NAWCAD.

Desired Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Power Platform and Qlik preferred.
• Experience assisting more senior positions performing functional duties of a similar position.
• Experience with data reduction, software tools, and their applications.
