Data Scientist (Hybrid), W2 only, no C2C

Our client is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to support the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise data infrastructure within a complex technical environment. This role will focus on building scalable data solutions, supporting analytics initiatives, developing data pipelines, and ensuring accurate, reliable, and accessible data across business systems and applications.The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience working with large datasets and complex systems, and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.Design, build, and maintain enterprise data infrastructure including databases, data warehouses, and data pipelinesCollect and integrate data from multiple sources including databases, APIs, and enterprise systemsDevelop efficient data pipelines to transform raw data into dashboards, reports, and actionable insightsEnsure data is stored securely, efficiently, and remains accessible for analytics and reporting needsImplement data validation, quality control, and governance processes to maintain data accuracy and consistencyOptimize data pipelines and infrastructure for performance, scalability, and reliabilityCollaborate with data scientists, analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to support business and technical data requirementsMonitor system performance, troubleshoot data infrastructure issues, and support ongoing maintenance activitiesSupport configuration management, documentation, and change impact analysis related to enterprise data architectureAssist with identifying Authoritative Sources of Truth (ASOT) and support integrations into cloud and reporting environments using Power BI and AWS technologiesParticipate in developing data models, process flows, and business process documentationTranslate complex data into meaningful business insights and recommendationsQualifications US Citizenship is required.Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field requiredMaster’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Engineering, Physical/Applied Sciences, or related discipline preferredMinimum of 6 years of relevant experience required10 or more years of relevant experience preferredStrong analytical, statistical, and mathematical problem-solving abilitiesExperience working with large datasets, complex systems, and enterprise data environmentsExperience developing data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting solutionsStrong understanding of probability, statistics, applied mathematics, and mathematical programming conceptsAbility to independently research, analyze, and develop solutions to complex problemsStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work collaboratively within cross-functional teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience with structured problem-solving methodologiesKnowledge of Agile metrics and reporting practicesExperience supporting development teams in technical environmentsKnowledge of engineering or manufacturing operationsExperience working in Agile or Scrum environmentsUnderstanding of technical systems related to complex defense or engineering programsBenefits:Health Insurance401k Pay Range: $59.00 - $63.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications) By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from HEPCO, Inc and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
