About the role

We are seeking a junior-level Data Scientist to support analytics product development and AI-driven initiatives within healthcare operations. This role will contribute to building data pipelines, analytical models, and AI-enabled solutions that improve operational efficiency, decision quality, and workflow automation across complex healthcare processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Query, analyze, and transform healthcare operational data to support analytics product development
  • Build and maintain data pipelines using Python and SQL, including joins, aggregations, and data validation logic
  • Contribute to AI and machine learning initiatives, including experimentation and integration of GenAI capabilities
  • Assist in developing analytical models and decision-support tools that enhance operational workflows
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders
  • Support testing, validation, and monitoring of models and data systems deployed in production

Requirements

  • Education: Master’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Experience: 0–3 years of experience in data science, analytics, data engineering, or applied AI (internships and academic research acceptable)
  • Technical Skills: Strong Python programming skills, Solid SQL including joins, aggregations, and subqueries, Exposure to data pipelines and structured datasets, Familiarity with machine learning or GenAI concepts (academic or project-based experience acceptable)
  • Other: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, Comfortable working in agile, team-based environments, Ability to operate within secure, regulated data environments, Strong written and verbal communication skills
