Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain statistical, predictive, and machine learning models to analyze structured and unstructured datasets.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, patterns, and correlations.
  • Design and automate data pipelines to support data ingestion, processing, and analysis.
  • Evaluate and improve model performance through validation, testing, and optimization.
  • Analyze geospatial, imagery, remote sensing, and location-based datasets to produce actionable intelligence.
  • Integrate multiple intelligence sources, including other relevant datasets where applicable.
  • Develop geospatial models and workflows to support situational awareness, target analysis, risk assessment, and operational planning.
  • Create maps, geospatial visualizations, dashboards, and intelligence products for stakeholder consumption.
  • Conduct spatial and temporal analysis to identify emerging trends and support decision-making.
  • Build analytical tools and applications using programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, or similar technologies.
  • Utilize geospatial platforms and tools to process, manage, and visualize spatial data.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Communicate findings through reports, briefings, visualizations, and presentations.
  • Translate complex analytical results into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Support cross-functional teams in identifying new data-driven opportunities and solutions.

Requirements

  • Cleared for TS/SCI level security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Geography, GIS, Geospatial Sciences, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Intelligence Studies, or related fields.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in intelligence analysis, data science, analytics, geospatial analysis, or related disciplines. 11+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, or other analytical programming languages.
  • Experience with machine learning, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics techniques.
  • Knowledge of GIS and geospatial analysis tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, ENVI, or similar platforms.
  • Experience working with geospatial databases and spatial data formats.
  • Strong understanding of data visualization principles and tools.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical findings to diverse audiences.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Data Science, GIS, Geospatial Intelligence, Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields.
  • Experience with satellite imagery, remote sensing, image exploitation, or computer vision applications.
  • Experience with big data technologies and distributed computing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Intelligence Community standards, methodologies, and workflows.
  • Experience developing geospatial machine learning or artificial intelligence solutions.
  • Knowledge of geospatial web services, APIs, and spatial databases such as PostGIS.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional technical skills developing data science applications using languages/libraries such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, pandas, NumPy, Matlab, Paradigm or DataRobot desired.
  • Additional technical skills and/or research in areas like text or video processing, computer vision and/or graph analytics desired.
