Role: A founding Data Scientist focused on building ClickHouse's Finance forecasting and measurement capabilities. Responsibilities Include Developing end-to-end revenue forecasting models, including backtesting, deployment, and monitoringCreating systems that model usage-based pricing, customer behavior, and consumption patternsDesigning causal measurement frameworks to assess impact of product launches and pricing changesEstablishing best practices for forecast accuracy and continuous improvementContributing to analytics infrastructure and tooling for data science workflowsCommunicating insights and recommendations to Finance, Sales, and leadershipPartnering with Data Engineering, Revenue Operations, and Product teams to build data pipelines Qualifications & Skills Advanced degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative fieldHands-on experience with ML/statistical systems, forecasting, and causal inference in productionProficiency in Python, SQL, and analytical platforms like ClickHouse, Snowflake, or BigQueryExperience with consumption-based or usage-billed business modelsStrong communication skills for translating complex models into actionable insightsFamiliarity with AI tools, workflows, and ownership of open-ended problems Key Traits: Action-oriented, innovative, and collaborative in a fast-paced, early-stage environment.
