About the role

They also work with many well-known NCAA programs utilizing data science and analytics to evaluate player value and fit in the new and evolving transfer portal.
Responsibilities
- Build predictive models utilizing insights from client and sport knowledge
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify data-driven insights on the transfer portal to collegiate programs
- Answer ad-hoc questions regarding transfer targeting
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across several data sources
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- Programming experience
- Proficiency with Python (pandas, polars, numpy) and SQL
- Experience generating data visualizations programmatically
- Deep Understanding of sports
- Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex data concepts to nontechnical audiences
- Strong self-motivation and curiosity to challenge traditional sports beliefs
- Attention to detail for accurate and timely report delivery
