Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Modeling: Analyze large datasets related to global operations and finance (e.g., inventory, forecast, spending, and logistics performance). Develop predictive models to forecast demand, inventory levels, and procurement needs. Use AI, statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and simulation techniques to optimize supply chain performance.
- Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the supply chain, order management, logistics, and inventory balancing and recommend data-driven solutions. Analyze operational workflows to improve processes and reduce operational costs. Develop and implement dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and supply chain metrics in real-time.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams (procurement, supply/demand, finance, order management, logistics, manufacturing) to identify data needs and collaborate on problem-solving initiatives. Present findings and actionable insights to stakeholders through reports and data visualizations.
- Data Collection & Management: Work with IT and data teams to ensure data integrity, streamline data pipelines, and enhance data storage solutions. Design and maintain supply chain databases and data repositories to ensure continuous monitoring of performance metrics.
- Risk Management & Forecasting: Use data to assess and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, supplier performance, and market changes. Create simulation models to anticipate and prepare for potential supply chain challenges.
