Sawiday is a leading player in the bathroom and sanitary industry. With a team of over 250 dedicated employees, they manage their online platforms (Sawiday.be, Sawiday.fr, and Sanitairwinkel.nl), 14 showrooms in the Netherlands, and 3 in Belgium.

Your Role

As a Data Scientist, you will strengthen Sawiday's Data Analytics team, focusing on data science, visualizations, analyses, and pricing. You will work closely with another data scientist, a data/pricing analyst, and a group of external senior data consultants.

What Will You Do?

• Analyze and process large datasets.
• Develop and enhance (existing) recommendation systems.
• Create predictive models and algorithms.
• Generate insights and report to management and other stakeholders.
• Apply advanced data-mining techniques to inform strategic decisions.
• Automate business processes.

Who Are You?

• You hold a master’s degree in Econometrics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, or a similar field.
• You have at least two years of experience in a similar role.
• You have proficiency in state-of-the-art Machine Learning techniques.
• You are skilled in Python and SQL.
• You have experience with cloud solutions such as AWS or GCP.
• You have previous experience in retail or e-commerce (a plus).
• You have knowledge of Tableau (an advantage).
• You are familiar with agile working methods (preferred).
