Data Scientist

Job Functions

• Performs data analytics / data science on massive sets of complex and, sometimes, unstructured data to prepare for statistical analysis.
• Maintains or converts data according to analysis needs; and develops approaches to deal with imperfections in data (e.g. missing values or inconsistent data formatting).
• Executes on the best approach for assigned projects which may include skills such as machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), large language models (LLMs), deep learning, neural networks, or any other data science function.
• Develops reports using complex formulas; analyzes and reviews results for accuracy.
• Works with multiple data sources, accurately accessing the correct data within complex databases based on business needs and reporting requirements.
• Interacts comfortably with all levels of technology teams both internally and externally to Lincare (project managers, database designers, information architects, multilayer off-shore support centers, etc.).
• Manages projects to ensure successful delivery within a timely manner.
• Identifies opportunities to improve revenue, productivity/efficiency, and enhance patient lifetime value using data science technologies.
