About the role

Kube Partners is a managerial and ICT consultancy company active internationally on projects in the insurance and banking industries. We design and implement advanced IT platforms based on cutting-edge analysis technologies. As we face rapid growth in the international arena, we are looking for a talented, business-driven Junior Data Scientist to join our team in Monza (Via Zucchi, 7). Remote work is acceptable on occasion.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of periodic high-quality reports and representation of insurance data for team discussions.
  • Application of advanced analytical, statistical, and mathematical methods on complex databases to profoundly impact our product strategy and roadmap.
  • Collaboration in the development of prototypes and new solutions.
  • Redesign and automation of existing tools.

Requirements

  • Accurate and rigorous analytical reasoning, with confidence in crunching numbers and interpreting graph patterns.
  • Eternal inquisitiveness and skepticism of unproven assumptions.
  • A relevant degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or Economics (M.Sc. level preferred but not required).
  • An obsession with numbers and a passion for breaking down and analyzing large datasets from multiple angles.
  • Genuine interest in the insurance and banking sectors.
  • Enthusiasm, energy, and perseverance to see tasks through to completion with high quality.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to pose clear questions, explain reasoning concisely, and create insightful reports with a touch of flair.
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).

Pay

Compensation is generous, at the top of the market, and can grow rapidly based on performance.

Schedule

Full-time, permanent role. Flexibility for occasional remote work.
