About the role
A Data Scientist at Accenture Federal Services will transform complex data into actionable intelligence to support critical missions.
Responsibilities
- Program with data analysis software such as R, Python, SAS, or MATLAB
- Work with large-scale or complex datasets
- Develop and analyze data visualizations
- Collaborate with a team to solve challenging problems
- Implement and deploy machine learning models
- Utilize agile development methodologies in data science projects
- Perform automated feature engineering and model selection
- Adhere to data privacy and security best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience programming with data analysis software
- Experience working with large-scale or complex datasets
- Experience with data visualization tools
Qualifications
- Familiarity or experience with AI/ML, Cyber, and SIGINT
- Familiarity with graph-based algorithms and analytics
- Experience with cloud-based data analytics platforms
- Knowledge of data mining techniques specific to network logs or structured metadata
- Knowledge of data privacy and security best practices in analytics
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools
- Experience with machine learning and AI
- Understanding of cybersecurity and signal intelligence

Pay
The base pay range for this position in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is $120,000—$220,000 USD.
