Data Scientist - Associate or Experienced Level

We’re looking for a Data Scientist to develop specialized knowledge in key domains and solve mid-level business challenges through custom data solutions. You’ll use statistical analysis, machine learning, and visualization tools to build models that deliver actionable insights, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure solutions align with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Collect and clean data from various sources, ensuring data quality.
• Manipulate and transform data using tools like SQL, Python, and R.
• Apply statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to perform exploratory data analysis, identifying patterns and anomalies.
• Support the development, validation, and deployment of machine learning and statistical models to predict, classify, and optimize business outcomes.
• Understand how to deliver data science models in a production environment.
• Create impactful visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business challenges and develop data-driven solutions.
• Translate technical concepts into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Balance learning with practical application, staying updated with advancements in data science.
• Understand project and team scope within broader strategic initiatives.

Requirements

This position is available at two levels:

• Associate Data Scientist:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, statistics, math, or a related analytical field (or other bachelor’s degrees with relevant data science certifications).
• Data Scientist:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, math, statistics, or a related analytical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a data scientist or application developer (2 years with an MS or Ph.D).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., MLOps, data platform certs) may substitute for a postgraduate degree in combination with experience.

Pay

• Associate Data Scientist: $84,900 to $120,566.66 per year
• Data Scientist: $97,600 to $138,600 per year
• Anticipated starting base pay: $84,900 to $138,600 per year
