Data Scientist 3

About the Role

GRVTY is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to perform tasks associated with Big Data Platform management, utilize skills in programming languages, develop prototype algorithms, refine algorithms, and support data visualization and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement machine learning and data science solutions
• Develop advanced analytical algorithms
• Perform data mining and advanced statistical analysis
• Apply advanced mathematical foundations and artificial intelligence techniques
• Ensure workflow and reproducibility in data processes
• Manage and curate data effectively
• Perform data modeling and assessment
• Support data science initiatives for single or multiple domain areas
• Engage in software engineering tasks related to data science

Experience in more than five of these areas is strongly preferred.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
• Doctorate degree and 6 years of relevant experience, or
• Master’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience, or
• Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience, or
• Associate’s degree plus 12 years’ experience (may be considered for individuals with in-depth, relevant experience)

Degree must be in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Operations Research, or Computer Science. A degree in a related field, physical/hard sciences, or other science disciplines with a substantial computational component may be considered if it includes a concentration of coursework in advanced mathematics and/or computer science.
