Data Science Senior Associate

Role Overview

Seeking a Senior Associate to join the Economic & Statistical Consulting team. This role involves performing statistical, economic, and financial analyses on public and private sector issues, developing and applying complex algorithms, and advancing mathematical and computational models. You will manipulate large data sets, craft insightful narratives, and produce professional reports and presentations accessible to non-specialists. Responsibilities include applying creative problem solving to address economic, financial, and business challenges, with a focus on integrity and professionalism.

Key Duties

• Conduct analyses on economic, regulatory, and policy issues
• Develop algorithms and models to simulate impacts of policy/business decisions
• Analyze data to support insights and recommendations
• Prepare technical and non-technical reports and presentations
• Uphold high standards of professionalism and integrity

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum three years of experience in quantitative analysis
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred, in economics, statistics, mathematics, or related fields
• Proficiency with data analysis software such as STATA, SAS, Python, SQL, or R
• Experience with large data management, financial analysis, modeling, and econometrics
• Knowledge of data science, machine learning, and LLM-based solutions
• Strong creative thinking, communication skills and teamwork
• Must hold a U.S. Government Secret clearance
