About the Role

This role focuses on building models for supply chain improvement with an emphasis on network and plan optimization. You will obtain business intelligence and support data-driven decision-making in operations and supply chain. The position involves leveraging optimization modeling, mathematics, statistics, AI/ML, and programming to analyze data and translate it into actionable business insights, including scenario analysis and execution plans. You will contribute technical depth to drive high-impact deployment of innovative solutions across strategic, tactical, and operational levels within the Supply Chain organization.

Responsibilities

• Build models for supply chain improvement, focusing on network and plan optimization.
• Support data-driven decision-making in operations and supply chain through business intelligence.
• Analyze data using optimization modeling, mathematics, statistics, AI/ML, and programming techniques to translate findings into business insights, including scenario analysis and execution plans.
• Drive high-impact deployment of analytics-based decision support across the Supply Chain organization at strategic, tactical, and operational levels.
• Perform statistical analysis of structured and unstructured data sets.
• Develop data-driven mathematical models with a focus on long-term decision-making processes.
• Develop computational solutions using scripting languages such as Julia and Python.
• May telecommute per company's hybrid policies.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Operations Research, Statistics, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in a Data Science Lead-related occupation.
• Experience with developing mathematical programming models for process optimization, including algorithm development.
• Knowledge of supply chain and operations management processes, including planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
• Experience developing LP (Linear Programming) and MILP (Mixed-Integer Linear Programming) models.
• Familiarity with simulation techniques including discrete-event and Monte Carlo simulation.
• Proficiency in data mining algorithms and machine learning techniques: regression, decision trees, probability networks, association rules, clustering, neural networks, and Bayesian models.
• Experience with large volume healthcare datasets and data analysis workflows.
• Proficiency in scientific programming languages such as Python or Julia.
• Experience with the Pandas data processing library.
• Experience with process optimization tools including Gurobi, CPLEX, and BARON.
• Familiarity with Operations Research tools such as FICO, Gurobi, AIMMS, and LLamasoft.
• Experience with at least one of the following cloud Data and Analytics solutions: Cloudera or Azure.
• Proficiency in data reporting and visualization software/tools.

Pay

$148,000 - $168,000 per year.
