About the role
This individual contributor role leverages advanced analytical and technical expertise to transform complex data into clear, actionable insights that inform strategic decisions and drive channel partner performance. The role develops data-based models, reporting, and analyses supporting engagement, performance optimization, and decision-making across channel partners. The ideal candidate is a strong analytic thinker with a proven ability to translate data into insights that influence strategy and business outcomes.
Responsibilities

- Executes creative data analytic approaches leading to actionable outcomes by defining and calculating metrics; defining, calculating, and validating algorithms; conducting analyses including descriptive, correlational, inferential, and/or predictive statistics.
- Develops, implements, and automates business and reporting solutions by working with stakeholders in their design, planning, and implementation; evaluating and summarizing data and results; creating summary statistics; developing data reports, visualizations, and/or interactive Business Intelligence (BI) reports; reporting key findings to stakeholders; identifying needs for additional reporting solutions; preparing documentation.
- Interprets data analyses by applying findings to contextual settings; developing insights, reports, and presentations that tell a compelling story to enable and influence decision-making; providing context related to data interpretations and/or limitations.
- Drives strategic data-informed decisions by consulting with clients to identify and clarify key business needs; developing outcomes and process measures; translating business requirements; determining data/information needs and data collection methods; developing analysis plans; measuring the impact of business decisions; working with clients and staff to identify opportunities and methods to improve efficiencies; supporting and training end-users; documenting processes and deliverables.
- Gathers data and information on targeted variables in a systematic fashion by validating data sources; querying, merging, and extracting data across sources; completing routine data refreshes and updates; developing and/or delivering tools for electronic data collection; providing user training, support, and documentation.
- Develops analytical and/or statistical models enabling informed business decisions by determining data and analytical requirements; creating models leading to actionable insights; testing, refining, and validating models.
- Prepares data for analytic efforts by integrating and consolidating data; ensuring data quality and accuracy; profiling data inaccuracies and recommending process improvements or system changes; cleaning and creating final data set(s) for analysis.
Requirements
- Minimum one (1) year experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Social/Physical/Life Science, Business, or related field and minimum five (5) years experience in data analytics or a directly related field.
- Additional equivalent work experience in a directly related field may be substituted for the degree requirement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two (2) years project management experience.
- Two (2) years experience in process improvement.

Schedule
- Full-time (40 hours/week).
- Shift: Day (Mon–Fri, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM).
- Work Setting: Flexible (worker location must align with Kaiser Permanente’s Authorized States policy).
- Travel: Up to 5%.
Pay
Pay Range: $133,100 – $172,150 per year. Actual base pay determined at offer based on labor market data, internal alignment, and candidate’s years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
