Facility: Administrative Regional Training Center – Full Time (1.0 FTE), non-exempt position within the ACE Associates bargaining unit.

About the Role

Assist and extend the effectiveness of Quality & Patient Safety provided to Catholic Health (CH) patients by reviewing, analyzing, reconciling, and entering highly sensitive, confidential data into voluntary and mandatory registries that direct Performance Improvement Initiatives across Catholic Health. Review includes in-hospital, patient-reported, and longitudinal review. Supports CH Performance Improvement Conferences by educating clinicians on State and National reporting guidelines and guiding opportunities for improvement. Creates detailed and comprehensive case summaries for multiple medical staff peer review conferences. Regularly interacts with administration, clinical teams, medical staff, and ancillary departments to assist in the development and support of improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Review, analyze, reconcile, and enter highly sensitive, confidential data into registries.
  • Support Performance Improvement Conferences by educating clinicians on reporting guidelines.
  • Create detailed case summaries for medical staff peer review conferences.
  • Collaborate with administration, clinical teams, medical staff, and ancillary departments to develop and support improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree or Graduate of Professional Nursing program.
  • Two years of professional experience in a similar role or professional setting.

Skills

  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology, particularly in neurology, vascular, cardiology (surgery, diagnostic, and interventional).
  • Ability to use independent judgment and work autonomously.
  • Strong prioritization skills in a frequently changing work environment.
  • Able to function effectively under stress and meet required deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills for working with administration, clinical teams, and medical staff.
  • High attention to detail and follow-up.

Schedule

  • Days, with hours varying between 6:00 AM – 4:48 PM and 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Working Conditions

  • Travel between CH facilities required.
  • Daily review of records and data entry into a computer.
